Our brand\u2011new Octogenarian was treated to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a delicious birthday cake (thank you Claudine!,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a souvenir card highlighting his long and glorious athletic career,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a Terrapins winter running hat,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and even two lottery tickets \u2014 because at 80, you are absolutely entitled to aim for the jackpot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He also received birthday wishes live from Slovenia, where a travelling Terrapin insisted on joining the celebration despite time zones and Alpine distractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The atmosphere was joyful, the smiles plentiful, and the photos abundant \u2014 Bono posed more times that morning than an influencer on a promotional tour. Happy 80th, Bono!
