{"id":1244,"date":"2026-09-24T15:08:06","date_gmt":"2026-09-24T15:08:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/terrapins.ca\/?p=1244"},"modified":"2026-09-24T15:08:07","modified_gmt":"2026-09-24T15:08:07","slug":"an-occasional-terrapine-takes-flight-on-the-yamaska-national-park-trail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/terrapins.ca\/index.php\/en\/2026\/09\/24\/an-occasional-terrapine-takes-flight-on-the-yamaska-national-park-trail\/","title":{"rendered":"An Occasional Terrapine Takes Flight on the Yamaska National Park Trail"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Sunday, September 20, 2026, our favourite occasional Terrapine, Lyne, quite literally took flight over the 21 km (well\u2026 actually 22.2 km!) of trail running paths at Yamaska National Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Between the breathtaking views of the Choini\u00e8re Reservoir and the park\u2019s vibrant autumn colours, you could swear she had traded her running shoes for wings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even though she doesn\u2019t often get the chance to train with us, Lyne proudly represented the Terrapins with a brilliant performance: 2<sup>nd<\/sup> place in her age category and 8<sup>th<\/sup> woman overall!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lyne would like to mention that her training sessions with the Terrapins contributed to her strong performance.
