On Monday morning, March 9, 2026, after our traditional 5 km run, we celebrated a very special milestone: the 65th birthday of one of the founding fathers of the Terrapins, who has racked up more than 50 half‑marathons, three full marathons, and even a solo marathon through the streets of Sutton during the pandemic — because when you’re a Terrapin, you don’t wait for an official event to run 42.2 km.

To mark the occasion, we shared a cake decorated with Fudgee‑O cookies, his official fuel source since 1961. Our Fudgee‑O‑powered sexagenarian blew out his candles with style.
