A Terrapin is currently enjoying a month in Brittany, France, where she’s combining family time with some stunning runs. Exploring new routes each day, she passes charming stone farmhouses, historic churches, and fields bursting with poppies. Her runs take her along narrow village streets, scenic coastal paths, and countryside roads lined with wheat and rye. Along the way, she greets horses, cows, and the occasional fox—though she was relieved to avoid a wild boar that recently visited her garden!

What makes every run truly special, she says, is the ever-present ocean—whether it’s running parallel to the shore, glimpsing the sea from a distance, or finishing a run at the water’s edge.
