Our First Terrapin‑Spartan!

Jun 26, 2026

While eight Terrapins were busy having a very wet kind of fun around Lac Brome on June 14, 2026, one particularly adventurous Terrapin decided that wasn’t quite challenging enough. On that same day, she set her sights on Mont Tremblant and took on the 10 km Spartan Race — because why run on a road when you can crawl under barbed wire, climb walls, and wrestle with gravity?

Supported by her two children and a friend, our Terrapin‑Spartan tackled 20 obstacles scattered across Tremblant’s unforgiving North Side. Steep climbs, dense bushwhacking, off‑trail chaos — the kind of terrain that politely asks you to quit, then shoves you anyway. But she pushed through it all with grit, determination, and the kind of resilience that makes mountain goats nod in approval. Mont Tremblant demands everything from those who dare to climb it… and Carole delivered. Congratulations, Carole, for embracing the hard way up the mountain, conquering every obstacle, and proving that you truly have the heart — and shell — of a Terrapin‑Spartan.
