From September 7 to 20, 2024, a Terrapin came remarkably close to completing the mythical GR 20 (or Fra Li Monti) hiking trail that crosses Corsica, from Calenzana (in the north) to Conca (in the south). A “short” 200 km ride through the mountains totaling more than 11,000 m of elevation gain on rocks, smooth slabs, and ridge passages. Despite the difficult (and wise) decision to interrupt his route after the 10^th of 13 stages due to a knee injury, our Terrapin was still able to admire the breathtaking landscapes with many views of the sea from the high peaks of the island. Congratulations Sylvain, you are now officially a Super Terrrapin!
